What should a new client know about working with you?

When people work with me, they can expect a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where they can show up exactly as they are. My background in behavioral health and my experience working with student-athletes, children, adolescents, and individuals involved in the foster care system have shaped how I understand trauma, stigma, and the systemic challenges many people face. I take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. I’m passionate about helping people find hope again, especially when life feels overwhelming or when the environment around them hasn’t always offered the support they deserve. I focus on helping clients build practical coping skills and develop tools to face both internal struggles and external barriers with more confidence. Whether they're navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, or major life transitions, my goal is to help them feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with building trust and creating a space where the clients feel emotionally and physically safe. I respect their pace—we talk about what they're ready for and when they're ready for it. I aim to walk alongside them so that they never feel like they're navigating their challenges alone. I work from a trauma-informed and empowerment-focused framework. Together, we'll identify goals and break them into achievable steps. I intentionally acknowledge the small steps the clients make along the way, because each step is meaningful and contributes to real, sustainable progress. Throughout our work, I’ll help individuals strengthen coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and develop new strategies that fit their life. My goal is to help individuals feel supported, capable, and hopeful as they move toward healing and growth.
