Getting to know Cierra Andrews

Hello, My name is Cierra, and I am an LCSW with a Master's in Social Work from West Chester University and over 10 years of experience working with individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, mood symptoms, and past traumas. Oftentimes, you may fear being vulnerable. We are taught that if you are vulnerable, it is a sign of weakness, and you will end up hurt somehow. But what if I told you that sometimes vulnerability is needed to heal? Through vulnerability, a person can take back the power that was once taken from them. It allows a safe and open space for one to express their thoughts, emotions, and feelings and share past traumas or current life stressors in a nonjudgmental space that helps build resiliency and courage. I live to empower high-functioning women to get through the struggles of different symptoms that may be hindering the progression of finding self-love and developing a better understanding of themselves. Seeking therapy allows you to start a journey of healing. It allows you to pick apart the things in life that you may have experienced and that continue to hinder and stop you from progressing in a direction that will help you find peace. Engaging in a therapeutic relationship also allows you to learn how to love and value your self-worth to help you maintain healthy boundaries and relationships with others while on your journey to healing. My goal is to help individuals overcome adversity and life situations. I help individuals work through life situations at their own pace to break down the very things that have been causing symptoms that stop advancement. I believe that through the methods of motivational interviewing and mindfulness, I will be able to help you achieve your goals and be the best person you can be for yourself. If you are looking to start your journey, you have found the right place!

What should a new client know about working with you?

From sessions with me, you can expect to take away motivation and gain a new sense of strength that you may not have been aware was inside of you. I will help you gain a different perspective of your strengths while coming up with strategies to address behaviors you would like to change. I will provide you a safe space to be yourself and not feel judged for experiences you have that you want to leave in the past to become a better version of yourself. This is your process, and you will never feel rushed or forced to not fully process and overcome things at a different pace or level than you feel comfortable in.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
