Getting to know Cierra Devries

The provider is an Associate Clinical Social Worker and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Inspiration Point Counseling Inc. I like to take a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy. It's important to me that clients feel seen so I take a collaborative approach since people life through their own unique lens. I enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ community, college students, individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, traumatic events, ADHD and those experiencing life transitions. I work with any age but I prefer working with those 16 and older as I find younger children struggle with telehealth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The modalities I use vary on clients needs and goals, these can include CBT, narrative therapy and solution-focused therapy for example. Trauma informed care and cultural humility are utilized in every session with every client.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My cats may make brief cameos during our sessions. In my free time I enjoy spending time with them, reading or spending time with my loved ones. I love a good coffee and a nice day at the beach or outdoors. I look forward to working with you!
