Throughout my career I have been passionate about helping others heal and overcome their struggles. I strive to help those I engage with move from just coping to living life to the fullest one day at a time. My approach to therapy is client-centered, and strength-based. I have special interest in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief utilizing several therapeutic approaches such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Christian Counseling approaches. I received my master’s in social work from Rutgers University and currently pursuing my PhD in Psychiatric Rehabilitation counseling also at Rutgers University.
