I'm deeply passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through some of life's most complex and challenging seasons. Whether you or your child is navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood fluctuations, behavioral challenges, neurodiversity, learning differences, or a significant life change, I want you to know that you are in the right place. My goal from the very beginning is to create a space that feels safe, accepting, and genuinely affirming — a place where you can breathe a little easier and know that you are not alone. I bring extensive experience working with children and adolescents across a wide range of needs, and I consider it one of the greatest privileges of my work to walk alongside young people during some of their most formative years. I have a particular depth of experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum, and I am deeply committed to supporting not just the child, but the entire family system around them. Helping families create environments at home where their children can truly thrive is something I care about enormously, and it's work I approach with both clinical skill and genuine heart. In addition to my clinical work, I am well versed in IEPs and 504 Plans, and I understand firsthand how overwhelming and confusing the school system can feel for families who are simply trying to get their child the support they deserve. I aim to be a knowledgeable, steady advocate for families navigating classroom environments, academic challenges, and the often complicated process of securing appropriate accommodations. You shouldn't have to figure that out alone, and with the right support, it doesn't have to feel so daunting.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and strengths-based, which means that from our very first session, I am looking for what is right about you — not just what feels hard. I believe deeply that every child, teen, and young adult who walks through my door brings with them a unique set of strengths, experiences, and capacities for growth, and my job is to help them see and build on those strengths, even when life has made that difficult to do. I see therapy as a truly collaborative experience. You are the expert on your own life and lived experiences, and I am here to listen, reflect, and help you make sense of what you're carrying. Together, we'll work to set realistic and attainable goals, identify the specific challenges that feel most pressing, and develop a clear and personalized path forward. That process looks different for everyone, and I'm committed to tailoring our work to fit your unique needs, pace, and goals. Some of what we explore will be heavy — processing difficult emotions, confusing experiences, and the behaviors that sometimes show up in response to pain is real and important work. But I also believe wholeheartedly that the pathway toward healing doesn't have to feel like a burden. It can be creative, engaging, and even enjoyable. I incorporate play, art, movement, and experiential activities into my work with younger clients, because I know that kids heal differently than adults — and that meeting them in their world makes all the difference. One of the things I feel most strongly about is creating a space where flaws, mistakes, and struggles are not just tolerated but genuinely normalized. Because they are a part of being human. You are not broken. Your child is not broken. And the hard things you're experiencing right now do not define where you're headed. Healing is possible, growth is possible, and a more fulfilling, satisfying, and joyful life is absolutely within reach.
