What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with children (4+), teens, young adults, families, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, especially those who may experience self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or acting-out behaviors. My focus is on fostering a safe, supportive environment where clients can feel heard and understood. I guide clients through challenges related to depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, ADHD, autism, bipolar, and trauma, using trauma-informed care practices to promote healing and resilience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach emphasizes safety, empowerment, and respect for each individual’s unique journey. I integrate trauma-informed care to create a space that acknowledges and honors the impact of past experiences, ensuring that healing can happen at a pace that feels safe for each client. Additionally, I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, mindfulness, and distress tolerance. Talk therapy fosters open communication and self-reflection, while play therapy techniques help younger clients express and process difficult emotions. All of this is done within a compassionate, non-judgmental space, helping clients navigate complex day-to-day struggles.
