What should a new client know about working with you?

I utilize a collaborative approach that is largely cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic, solution-focused therapy, person-centered approach with a little mindfulness. These modalities are utilized with a positive approach to assist individuals with various personal challenges including but not limited to, anxiety, stress, life transitions and challenges, and relationship issues. I hope to help clients develop a strong and healthy sense of self while exploring their thoughts and feelings.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first visit, you can expect to be greeted warmly and gently as beginning the therapy process can be intimidating. We will discuss what has brought you in that day, as well as briefly discuss your mental health and psychosocial history. We will collaborate to identify goals and develop a game plan to reach them together through therapy. I do offer a 15 minute phone consultation at request prior to our first session.
