Getting to know Claryssa Trevino
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, currently offering virtual therapy sessions. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since 2010, I have been providing therapy and therapy-related services. Most of my experience is with adults, though I have also worked with troubled teens.
I started my own practice to have more freedom in my approach and to focus on each individual through virtual therapy sessions. Given the current times, I want to make therapy more accessible to people who may not be able to attend in-person appointments.
My experience includes providing both individual and group therapy. Additionally, I have taught educational groups on various topics such as stress management, anger management skills, family dynamics, positive thinking skills, and conflict management.
What should a new client know about working with you?
After the first session with me, I would want you to feel safe, comforted, and accepted. A major part of therapy is trust and with that we will be able to work together on a treatment plan to address the goals that you want to be reached. I will be able to help facilitate your growth. With the ongoing sessions, my hope is that you will overall feel empowered.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
