Getting to know Claudia Gomez-Walsh

It is throughout the many roles in my life that my journey guided me to become a systemic therapist. My professional training has been as broad as cross disciplinary studies in Humanities and Social Sciences, and my Doctoral studies are in Couples and Family Therapy. Currently, I am in my dissertation phase to complete my PhD, and my research is on Autism and related disorders. I will join you in your own journey to find your personal and family clarity.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is relational: I am interested in how you relate to others as well as how you relate to yourself, including your habits, culture, expectations and thoughts you own. I take a position of a mirror where you see yourself and decide how you will reflect your own views onto others. You will find in me a good listening ear, a therapist who will provide services to you professionally and humanisticly. I will help you understand your world and walk with you throughout the journey of your own expertise: you.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
