What should a new client know about working with you?

I see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your experiences, strengths, and goals, and I bring support, perspective, and practical tools to help you move forward. My style is warm, direct, and supportive. I want you to feel comfortable being honest about what is working, what is not, and what you would like to change. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychoeducation, client-centered approaches, and other strategies based on your needs. You can expect our sessions to be thoughtful and goal-focused without feeling rigid. We will work together to better understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, and identify realistic steps that support the changes you want to make.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I view therapy as a collaborative process. We will work together to understand what is bringing you to therapy, identify your goals, and build on the strengths you already have. Early sessions will focus on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and identifying what you would like to see change. From there, we will develop practical strategies that fit your needs and your life. My role is to support you, offer perspective and tools, and help you recognize patterns that may be getting in the way of the progress you want to make. Throughout our work together, we will regularly check in on what is helping and adjust our approach as needed.
