Claudine Stebler, LCSW-C, is a clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She received her Master's in Social Work, Clinical Concentration, from Catholic University of America, where she completed two internships at Montgomery County Maryland's DHHS Linkages to Learning Program and Adult Multicultural Mental Health Program. She previously earned her B.A. at the University of Maryland, College Park, in Psychology and Spanish Language and Literature.
Claudine has applied not only her clinical expertise but also her bilingual (English and Spanish) and bicultural skills, working in community mental health, school-based programs, an international eating disorders clinic, an immigration program, treatment-oriented foster care, private practice, and inpatient medical and mental health care at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, geriatric patients, couples, and families. Her clients have presented with a wide variety of needs, including anxiety, trauma, PTSD, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, grief, attachment disorders, acculturation and assimilation, reunification, transitions, blended families, step-parenting, military families, infertility challenges, behavior disorders, major mental illness, and addictions.
Claudine is a first-generation American born in Los Angeles, California, to a German father and a Mexican mother. She has primarily lived in Maryland but spent seven years overseas in Barcelona, Spain, giving her a unique and rich understanding of moves, transitions, and diverse cultures. She currently enjoys focusing on nurturing her roles as the wife of a Navy veteran, mother, and stepmother.
