Clinton Leonard, LCSW

Psychotherapist
AL
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck—unsure how to manage strong emotions or handle challenging situations with confidence. My name is Clint, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Florida and Alabama. I specialize in helping adults who feel emotionally exhausted, struggle with self-doubt, or feel trapped in negative thought patterns. Often, feeling overwhelmed comes from believing you have to control every emotion or handle every challenge perfectly. In therapy, I help clients learn how to accept difficult emotions as a natural part of life rather than something to fear or avoid. Together, we work on identifying and challenging negative self-talk, building healthier coping skills, and developing the self-confidence needed to navigate difficult emotions and challenging life situations with greater clarity and resilience. My approach is practical, supportive, and focused on helping you feel more capable—not just in the moment, but long term. Therapy is not about having all the answers right away; it’s about creating space to better understand yourself and respond to life with more confidence and self-compassion. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. The first session is simply a chance for us to talk, explore what’s been weighing on you, and see if working together feels like the right fit—without pressure or expectations. If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d be honored to support you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
