Getting to know Cobi Hamp

I am a Master's Level Therapist, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern RMHCI, and a Nationally Certified Counselor NCC. Life can sometimes feel heavy and exhausting. For many, the thought of starting therapy brings feelings of isolation and uncertainty. Many people feel unsure if anyone will truly understand them. That hesitation can make reaching out feel daunting and even lonely. I provide therapy to adults, teens and couples. I specialize in treating issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, postpartum/perinatal issues, relationship and couples. My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed. I blend evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness practices to support each client’s individual needs and goals. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can openly explore life’s challenges and reflect on their journey. I am here to support clients as they work toward healing, growth, and meaningful goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that there is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy and will tailor care to meet your individual needs.I have gained experience across a variety of mental health settings, working with diverse populations. I have supported clients that have faced challenges such as trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. I believe that there is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy and will tailor care to meet your individual needs. Through therapy my focus is to help you feel empowered to create meaningful change, while also finding relief from life’s pressures and connecting with a deeper understanding of who you are. Together, we’ll take a collaborative approach, meeting you exactly where you are. In our first session, we'll work together to explore any areas of concern and create a plan that will support you in meeting your goals.
