Psychotherapist
MA
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding a therapist who feels like the right fit is an important part of the process. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring life's challenges and working toward meaningful change. I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, eating disorders, and self-esteem concerns. I believe that every person's experiences are unique, which is why I take an individualized approach to therapy. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I work collaboratively with each client to develop a treatment plan that reflects their goals, strengths, and personal values. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based practices. CBT helps identify the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, allowing us to recognize patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress and replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. Mindfulness complements this work by helping clients develop greater awareness, self-compassion, and the ability to respond to life's challenges with intention rather than reaction. I believe that therapy is a partnership. My role is to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical tools while creating a safe environment where you can openly process difficult experiences. Whether you are navigating a current challenge or seeking greater self-understanding, I am committed to meeting you where you are and supporting you at a pace that feels right for you. Seeking support is a sign of strength, and you do not have to face life's challenges alone. I look forward to working with you as you move toward greater balance, healing, and confidence in your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy is a meaningful step, and it's natural to feel a mix of emotions as you begin. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know you—your experiences, strengths, challenges, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. Together, we'll identify goals that are important to you and develop a personalized approach that fits your unique needs. Throughout our work, you can expect compassion, honesty, collaboration, and practical support. I strive to balance providing a space for reflection and processing with offering evidence-based tools, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, that can help you navigate life's challenges outside of our sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapy style is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that every client brings unique experiences, strengths, and goals to the therapeutic process, so I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based practices, I provide a balance of support, guidance, and practical tools to help you better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change. Above all, I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, empowered, and supported throughout your journey.
