What should a new client know about working with you?

I strongly believe in equity and support for all and that mental health is just as important as physical health. I value helping others while continuously being open-minded and learning from my clients as much as they learn from me. I remain adamant about staying informed on important topics, such as the negative mental health effects of Covid and continuing to broaden my multicultural lens. As a therapist, I strongly value social justice, equity, and diversity. I am an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community and the Black Lives Matter movement.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapeutic framework takes on a strong feminist lens, which chooses to not only focus on what issues reside within the client but also how society and politics may be affecting their mental health. I am against stigmas and binary ways of thinking, and I meet the client where they are. I truly believe that the power to change already lies within you; I am here to consistently remind you of that.
