What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a direct, empathetic, and practical approach focused on the realities of being a man today. I understand the pressures men face around work, fatherhood, relationships, and personal identity, and I help you explore how these pressures impact your choices and well-being. Therapy with me is collaborative: you don’t need to have everything figured out to start. Together, we’ll work to reduce stress, address addiction or substance use, strengthen relationships, and create strategies that allow you to thrive as a man and a father.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We start by understanding your goals, challenges, and the unique pressures you face as a man. Early sessions focus on identifying patterns in thoughts, behaviors, and relationships, particularly around substance use, stress, and personal expectations. I use evidence-based techniques to help you gain insight, manage mental health concerns, and develop practical skills for coping with stress, improving relationships, and building healthier habits. Therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your life, with regular check-ins to ensure progress toward your personal and family goals.
