Colton Darrow is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. He earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University in 2019 and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, in 2010. He enjoys working with clients from all walks of life and welcomes diversity. Colton has experience supporting individuals struggling with Depression, Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Trauma, PTSD, combat exposure, Anger Management, Grief/Loss, and Life Transitions. His clinical approach is eclectic, recognizing that each person responds differently to various styles, approaches, and treatment modalities. Colton utilizes Cognitive-Based approaches, Holistic and Person-Centered methods, and Short-Term Solution-Focused Therapies, among others. He feels honored and privileged to assist those seeking positive change, happiness, life satisfaction, and personal goals. Colton is passionate about making every client feel safe, heard, understood, and respected throughout their journey to personal growth. His goal is to focus on Veteran Issues in counseling and contribute to reducing the stigma around help-seeking behaviors among military personnel, as well as assist veterans transitioning from service member to civilian. Colton served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division and was honorably discharged after his second tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2015. He is very excited to be part of the LifeStance Health Team!
