My name is Corey Kennedy, LCSW. I bring nearly a decade of experience across program development and implementation, research, inpatient and emergency department social work, community mental health enhanced services, and clinical leadership. My background has allowed me to work at multiple levels of care while also shaping systems that support both clients and clinicians.
I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), mindfulness-based strategies, and am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I draw from these evidence-based approaches thoughtfully, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual.
At the core of my work is a relational approach. I believe meaningful change happens within safe, collaborative relationships—whether with clients or supervisees. My goal is to help individuals move closer to their most authentic selves by aligning their goals and daily actions with their deepest values. When values and behavior begin to align, work and life satisfaction tend to follow.
In both clinical care and leadership, I strive to create environments grounded in curiosity, accountability, and compassion. I see therapy not simply as symptom reduction, but as a process of growth, clarity, and intentional living.
