What is your typical process for working with clients?

My goal is to make your therapy experience feel comfortable, supportive, and meaningful from the very beginning. During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your personal history, and identifying what you hope to achieve. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. In subsequent sessions, we will work collaboratively to explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be contributing to your current challenges. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and other therapeutic approaches to help you gain insight and develop practical coping strategies. Sessions may include processing difficult experiences, identifying unhelpful thought patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, and developing healthier ways to navigate life's challenges. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, so we will regularly check in on your progress and adjust our goals as needed. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools you can apply in your everyday life. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth. When you're ready, I invite you to schedule a session. I look forward to meeting you!
