What should a new client know about working with you?

As a therapist, I am objective, non-judgmental and empathetic. The session is about YOU and YOUR LIFE JOURNEY. I will assist you in identifying your strengths and help you learn positive ways to deal with life stressors and live a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first session, I complete a psychosocial. I ask questions regarding different areas of your life and what you want to achieve in therapy. I use a person-centered approach and evidenced based techniques. Treatment modalities I use include, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Reminiscence Therapy, Supportive therapy, to name a few. I am trauma informed and knowledgeable of the process of addiction. I have experience in working with adults who have experienced depression, anxiety, grief (anticipatory grief), self-esteem issues, transition/life adjustment, issues surrounding chronic/terminal illness, chemical dependency and women related issues.
