Life can be incredibly challenging at times. Have you recently faced a tough situation and felt like you needed someone who truly understands? Perhaps you're finding it hard to get out of bed, unsure how to move forward to a more fulfilling life. Or maybe you're lying awake at night, worrying about the next day's challenges and how you'll face them. Struggling with relationships-whether with friends, loved ones, or coworkers-can add to the weight of it all. Some days are harder than others, and the stress can feel overwhelming. But you don't have to navigate this alone. With over 12 years of experience and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago, I've helped individuals of all ages-children, teens, adults, and families-through their toughest moments. From overcoming trauma and toxic relationships to managing depression and anxiety, I've seen firsthand how transformative healing can be. For example, one client, a college student battling severe anxiety and social pressures, was able to develop coping strategies and regain her confidence. As a result, she was able to pursue her dreams without fear. Another client, a mother who had lost touch with her children after a painful divorce, rebuilt those relationships and now enjoys a closer bond with her kids. Having worked with crisis programs throughout the Chicago area, I understand the devastating impact of mental health challenges. I'm committed to creating a safe, supportive space where you can heal and thrive. Whether you're feeling lost in your career, overwhelmed by life's challenges, or struggling with personal relationships, I've worked with clients in similar situations. One young professional I worked with was uncertain about her career path. Through our sessions, we uncovered her passions, and she went on to advance in her chosen field with renewed confidence and clarity.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with both young people and adults who are going through tough times, whether it’s feeling low, losing motivation, battling anxiety, or dealing with heavier stuff like self-harm, thoughts of suicide, or relationship struggles. I totally get that life can be overwhelming, and I’m here to help you get through it. Together, we’ll explore some practical tools—like CBT and DBT—that can help you break free from negative thinking and build healthier ways to cope. My goal is to help you heal from the past, get unstuck from unhealthy patterns, and find your way toward a brighter, more hopeful future.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I like to begin by talking about what your life could look like after treatment. I call it working on your 'life worth living.' Everyone has their own dreams and goals, and together, we’ll figure out a plan to help you get there. For some people, this might take a few months, and for others, it might take a bit longer—and that’s completely okay.
