Psychotherapist
11555 Los Osos Valley Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA
Hello! I am a licensed marriage family therapist specializing in trauma with adults and youth, women's issues, grief/loss and life transitions. I am passionate about helping others heal and grow because of my own experience with receiving that type of support in my life and healing my own trauma. I feel so honored to be a part of another person's journey to healing as it is a very personal and vulnerable experience. And it can also be an experience that leads to growth and a more fulfilling life. The work of trauma recovery is difficult, but this same work can lead to new wisdom and an awakening of the heart. We can learn to trust in our capacity for growth. You can be an active and creative participant in shaping your life and your future. It truly is and has been an honor to be present with and witness as clients navigate the difficult spaces and step into and experience a new sense of aliveness, connection, safety and wholeness. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, parenting stress, deep grief, or the weight of unresolved trauma, I provide a space where you can feel supported and empowered. I offer trauma-informed therapy for women that honors your body’s wisdom, helps you understand your patterns and experience more wholeness and well being.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Through EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and IFS-informed work, I help women tap into their innate wisdom and find inner clarity and create new patterns. We’ll work together to gently untangle what’s keeping you stuck and help you create deep lasting change. I offer both virtual and in-person sessions and work with clients who are ready to invest in healing that lasts. If you’re ready to feel more present, empowered and connected to yourself and others, I invite you to reach out for a free consultation. You don't have to keep doing it alone. I’d be honored to walk with you on your path to healing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session will be an intake session in which I get to know you and how you are hoping therapy will help and you can get to know me as well and ensure we're a good fit. Prior to the first session I will send an email link to my patient portal for you to complete forms prior to our appointment. I will also collect a credit card to have on file prior to our first appointment to ensure ease of payment. We can also discuss alternative payment methods.
