Hello. My name is Rosie, and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. I have 15 years of experience in the field of counseling and hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley. I am passionate about my career and especially passionate about helping others. I firmly believe that at one point in our lives, we have all experienced or will experience feelings of being overwhelmed, confused, sad, in pain, or some type of discomfort. I've been there... and now I want to be here for you. I understand that it takes courage to reach out for help, but I am here to support you in exploring ways to feel more empowered about your situation. Seeking therapy may feel challenging, but I will help make the process less difficult. It takes bravery, courage, and drive to take the initial step toward seeking support. You've already accomplished the first step, believe it or not! I hope to hear from you soon.
What should a new client know about working with you?
We will discuss your motivation for seeking therapy at our first session, as well as parts of your past that will help to give me a better understanding of your experiences. I'll listen to your concerns and ask you a few questions in order to better understand what you're experiencing and what you want to concentrate on the most. In the coming sessions, we will investigate the origins of the problem, how they affect your life, and some coping mechanisms to assist you more effectively deal with your worries. We'll set up your sessions in a way that works with your life. Even though you might find a sense of relief after one or two sessions, counseling is not a quick fix. Although therapy is a process that frequently requires multiple sessions, investing in yourself is tremendously rewarding!

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
