Hello! My name is Courtney, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I graduated from the University of Connecticut with my master's degree in social work in 2019. I work with people of all ages; however, I have the most experience working with children and adolescents, as well as parents. As a social worker, I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to empower and support them in navigating change and difficult moments in their lives. I use different approaches to meet each individual client's needs and am experienced in various treatments, such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused approaches, along with other types of therapeutic treatments. I specialize in strength-based and trauma-informed approaches that allow us to focus on how to use your strengths to help you succeed in areas of your life. I have a history of working with clients who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and a variety of other challenges that individuals may face. I have experience treating children, adolescents, and adults, supporting them in navigating complex family dynamics, advocating for their needs, developing skills to manage and process their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, as well as setting necessary boundaries in their lives. I believe in creating a therapeutic partnership that allows the client the space to feel safe and secure in being vulnerable within sessions and to grow to their full potential. More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
