Psychotherapist
GA
Hello, I'm Courtney Chandler, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, and I've pursued extended education in marriage and family systems, addiction, trauma, and play therapy. My passion lies in helping individuals navigate through life's challenges, whether it be anxiety, anger, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, or other mental health concerns. I take a systemic, integrative approach to therapy, drawing from person-centered, existential, reality, and play therapy perspectives. This allows me to view clinical situations from a holistic lens, considering all aspects of my clients' mental health. I believe in the power of empathy and genuine connection, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients. While I have experience working with all age groups, I find my best work is with adolescents and adults. My approach is unique, interesting, and fun, which helps me connect with people on a deeper level. I understand that each person's journey is different, and I am here to support you every step of the way. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors foraging and reconnecting with nature alongside my husband Richard and our four-legged daughter, Jade. We go on many adventures where Jade loves making new friends. We particularly enjoy spending time near moving water, which brings us a sense of peace and tranquility. Additionally, my husband and I are avid music lovers and regularly attend concerts. If you're ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, I would be honored to work with you. Let's embark on this path together and find the healing and growth you deserve.
