I offer skilled counseling services for adults struggling with addiction, trauma, and other general mental health needs. With a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, I strive to meet clients where they are and empower them to live lives aligned with their values to decrease suffering. The ideal client has some willingness to challenge the life they are living that leads to suffering and invites curiosity toward changed thought processes and behaviors.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients build insight. Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help clients process through trauma. Clients have the option for evidence-based recovery programs and a firm yet compassionate approach.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients are invited to reflect on their lives and build skills to create their own unique path to long-term recovery. Clients will develop the ability to decrease the distress and suffering that come with trauma memories. Healthy coping skill development, setting and maintaining boundaries, and building self-esteem are a few basic pillars to therapy. Clients are guided to create a life in alignment with their values to help decrease suffering.
