What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist began with an extensive background in public education, paired with a deeper sense of meaning that came from hearing others' individual journeys and feeling the gift of creating a space where someone can be truly vulnerable or feel authentically themselves. These experiences deepened my commitment to providing safe, non-judgmental care where trust is built naturally. Now, I bring a sense of warmth, humor, and a focus on the whole person to each session.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Working together, my goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment where you feel right at home. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy, often incorporating creative modalities such as media and creative activities, to help you process challenging thoughts, beliefs, or trauma. Supportive yet perspective-challenging is how I'd describe my style, which is tailored to your unique treatment goals.
