Courtney Snow, LPC

Psychotherapist
PA
Greetings! My name is Courtney Snow. I am an art psychotherapist with credentials as a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Marywood University. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, and families within behavioral health agencies, community outreach programs, educational settings, residential, and outpatient programs. I am experienced in treating individuals who have substance use disorders, developmental disorders, thought disorders, complex trauma, emotional disturbances, unresolved grief, and relationship issues. Through an integrative, humanistic approach, I utilize creative modalities through art materials to assist you in connecting to your feelings and needs, releasing emotional distress, and increasing insight and awareness, which can promote healing and resiliency. Artmaking is a nonverbal, universal language that has the power to speak with imagery and can transform maladaptive thinking. Art is a deeply personalized form of self-expression that can increase self-awareness, identify intrapersonal worth and purpose, enhance coping, and help find meaning in one’s life. You do not need artistic experience to enjoy this practice, and each art-based directive is empathically tailored to your needs. If art therapy is not for you—that’s okay! I am also trained in other talk-therapy modalities as a trauma-informed, DBT-informed, and mindfulness clinician.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
