Dr. Craig Beeson (He/Him) is an alumnus of The University of Kansas where he earned his doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology. His training was focused on Narrative Therapy, multicultural counseling, and college mental health. Craig spent the first decade of his career in various universities across his native state of California providing mental health care, coordinating group programs, integrating with residential life programs, supervising therapists in training, and responding to crises. Since 2019, he has built his own practice in beautiful Santa Cruz where he’s able to offer more long term compassionate care. His approach integrates the healing power of nature with cutting-edge therapy techniques such as Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. He draws from diverse therapeutic modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, outdoor Ecotherapy, Psychedelic Assisted Therapy, Mindfulness, and embodied approaches to provide individualized care. He believes in the transformative potential of therapy and is committed to collaboratively moving towards growth and healing.
