As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I find working with couples and families to be a unique and rewarding challenge. When two individuals enter a union, they bring together their childhood experiences and family life histories, creating a new relationship dynamic. The clinical journey of Marriage and Family Therapy involves integrating these unique qualities and challenges to build a new foundation for a shared life. I specialize in working with children and families involved in child welfare, with a particular focus on young children and teens—some of the most challenging developmental years. Many clients in this age group face trauma and distress stemming from systemic and familial patterns of behavior. I hold a Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Science from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University, which have equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clinical work.
