Getting to know Cricket Rice

Through human connection, healing can take place. I hope to help you begin the process of improving your emotional health, no matter where you are in life. As your therapist, my goal is to help you feel at home in your body, mind, and heart. I can help deconstruct and shift your “shoulds” into something that feels more authentic and meaningful to you. Sometimes all we need is a safe environment to explore primary interests, develop goals, and identify strengths and assets to move forward. I have experience working with complex trauma, attachment and relationship issues, anxiety and other mood disorders, and rebuilding skills related to relaxation and stress management. I approach therapy in a collaborative manner, truly connecting with my clients and listening to their needs and goals while gently guiding them in healing. It takes courage to consider reaching out for help and taking the step toward change. I am here to support and empower you on this journey. It is my hope that through our work together, you will be able to live in greater alignment with your values and live the fullest life possible. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Fort Hays State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and effective care.
