"The provider is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern". It takes courage to reach out and seek support for your well-being, and I commend you for taking this important first step. I am already proud of you. Welcome! I believe mental wellness is a journey of love, growth, and self-discovery—with a little laughter along the way. My mission is to provide compassionate guidance in a safe, supportive space where you can tackle life’s challenges without feeling like it’s all work and no play. Helping people live healthier, happier, and more productive lives is my passion—but let’s talk about my other passion: animals. I have four dogs (yes, four!), and they’ve taught me a lot about emotional regulation—and how to share the couch. While I don’t expect everyone to have a furry therapy squad, we’ll work together to discover what helps you thrive. I graduated with a master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver in 2023, specializing in mental health and trauma. Currently working toward licensure, I’m passionate about helping clients find their way back to “feeling like themselves” again with humor, compassion, and a touch of canine magic—courtesy of my four beloved dogs, who occasionally make guest appearances in therapy sessions. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based and client-centered modalities tailored to meet individual needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for managing anxiety and depression, and Somatic Experiencing to help regulate the nervous system and reconnect with the body. For those who love a more creative and furry approach, I also incorporate Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) to foster connection, comfort, and emotional growth. So, what are you waiting for? Book a session, and let’s get started on your journey—with a side of humour, insight, and maybe a dog story or two.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In my practice, I am committed to fostering an environment that is inclusive, respectful, and attuned to the unique cultural experiences of each client. I take a culturally humble approach, continually learning from the perspectives and backgrounds of those I work with. I aim to create a safe, affirming space where you can bring your full, authentic self, knowing that your identity—whether shaped by race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, or spiritual beliefs—is honored. I work from an intersectional perspective, understanding that various aspects of your identity influence your mental health and well-being. I am deeply committed to social justice and seek to support those navigating systems of oppression, while offering trauma-informed care that recognizes how cultural and historical experiences impact healing. Together, we can explore and integrate the cultural values that are important to you into our work.
