What should a new client know about working with you?

When we work together, my goal is to create a space where you can be yourself—without pressure, without judgment, and at your own pace. I see therapy as a partnership where we explore what’s happening in your life, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and build tools to support lasting change. You can expect me to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you connect the dots between your experiences, emotions, and relationships. I often incorporate mindfulness and grounding techniques to help you feel more centered, both inside and outside of session. I believe growth happens when you feel understood and supported. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, balance, and a deeper sense of self—so that you can navigate challenges with confidence and compassion.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, I focus on getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what’s bringing you to therapy right now. Together, we’ll identify what feels most important to address and create a plan that feels supportive and manageable. Each session is a blend of reflection, skill-building, and emotional exploration. Some days we may look at how past experiences influence your current patterns or relationships; other times we’ll focus on coping strategies, communication tools, or ways to reduce stress and build self-trust. I use a collaborative and flexible approach, checking in regularly about how therapy is feeling for you and adjusting our work as needed. My goal is for sessions to feel grounding and purposeful—a space where you can safely explore challenges and begin to see real, meaningful change over time.
