Getting to know Crystal Hall

Thank you for choosing life—and for choosing yourself. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I’m passionate about creating a safe, affirming space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. I specialize in helping individuals manage daily stressors, navigate minority and women’s issues, and work through anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, perinatal mental health concerns, learning differences, and life transitions. My approach combines practical tools for emotional regulation and stress management with deeper self-exploration, healing, and identity work. I believe in walking alongside my clients—not ahead or behind—empowering you every step of the way on your path toward growth and self-discovery. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Texas A&M University–Central Texas and my Master of Counseling from West Texas A&M University. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of serving diverse populations: from teaching the children of military families at Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood), to offering crisis support and parenting education in Collin County, supporting new and expecting mothers through perinatal challenges, and facilitating group therapy for teens. These experiences allow me to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families—meeting each client with empathy, skill, and cultural responsiveness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

From our first session, you'll enter a space where your story is honored, your feelings are valid, and your healing matters. I bring a culturally affirming, client-centered approach to therapy that balances deep compassion with real, practical tools. You are the expert on your life—and I’m here to walk beside you with curiosity, warmth, and encouragement. In our work together, you can expect thoughtful listening, goal-oriented care, and an authentic relationship where growth is not only possible—it’s sustainable. Whether we’re unpacking anxiety, processing trauma, or navigating major life changes, I’ll meet you with flexibility, insight, and a genuine commitment to your well-being. And if this is your first time in therapy, know this: you don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. Show up exactly as you are—tears, laughter, doubt, and all. We’ll build from there, together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

While I work with people from all walks of life, many of my clients are women and members of minority communities seeking a space where their experiences are deeply understood and respected. My clients are often navigating high levels of stress, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm—and are ready to invest in their healing. I frequently support: Adults and young adults managing anxiety, depression, or ADHD Women navigating identity, motherhood, or career changes New and expecting mothers experiencing perinatal mood shifts Individuals processing trauma, grief, or major life events Teens and adolescents facing academic, emotional, or social stressors Couples and families working to build stronger communication and connection No matter where you’re starting from, my goal is to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering—so you can move forward with clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of self.
