“Crystal is amazing. Even though she is only my life coach and not my Psychiatrist, she does way better than any of the psychologists/physiatrists I've had in the past. She listens, is relatable, proactive, helpful, welcoming, and just overall has really great positive energy. She makes me feel like I'm having regular normal conversation and connection with another human being, and not like I'm just another patient she has to get done with. I've only been seeing her for about 3 weeks or so, but in that short time, I already have so much clarity, less anxiety, more structure to my life, feeling more hopeful, feeling less discouraged/overwhelmed/helpless, and feeling more supported. And she did all of this without ever once trying to throw medication at me. I am grateful for her addition to my life.”

Getting to know Crystal Jones

Therapy is about building rapport and establishing a trusting relationship so that an individual feels comfortable being vulnerable and disclosing their presenting problem. I hold a Master's in Forensic Psychology from Grand Canyon University, which informs my approach to understanding and supporting each person's unique experience.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am licensed mental health counselor that has worked with children, adolescents and young adults who struggle with emotion management, trauma and aggression. I took a special interest in working with couples and families in improving their communications and interactions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Beside mental health issues I also provide life coaching and can help individuals with creating meaningful goals and setting plans in motion to accomplish those goals.
