Getting to know Crystal Perryman

I am an enthusiastic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Life Coach! When human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My great passion is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic or stressful experience. I am driven to “unlock limiting beliefs” for those in distress or in need of guidance. I help my clients, which include children, young adults, couples, and families, to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole, and secure. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual, so I have spent many years enhancing my knowledge and skills in a range of modalities such as Gestalt Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, The Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, as well as a somatic approach in Reality Therapy. My educational background includes a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, a B.A. in Psychology from Angelo State University, and certifications as a Life Coach from New Skills Academy and in Reality Therapy. From a heart of encouragement, it is my desire to help initiate perspective shifts by utilizing strategic, inspirational, and creative approaches.

By far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. She made me feel so comfortable with life situations that most people would cringe. I felt like I was sitting on the couch with my best friend and we were just chatting. Hands down recommend! I’m so excited to see where she can help take me in life!

I appreciate her non-judgmental, faith-based approach that not only helps me reflect on my past and embrace my future. I will continue my sessions because it helps me process my thoughts and experiences in a manageable way. She is so super awesome!
I absolutely have enjoyed my sessions with crystal! We laugh and cry together and she always leaves me with words of encouragement! I don’t feel judged and she has helped me get to such a good place!
I did truly appreciate the guidance and thoughtfulness that Crystal put behind every session that we had. She was kind and uplifting and gave great advice. She has great faith in God and it shines through her personality and reflective guidance. I know that she will continue to be a great asset for many people, but for me I want to keep my mental health journey and religious journey separate for now. I know for most of those are one and the same.
I have found that with Crystal she doesn't have me talk the whole time. She is attentive and offers solutions, homework, heartwork, spiritual backing to the issues. Which helps when you are going out on a limb when visiting past trauma.
