Getting to know Curlene Williams
I am caring, compassionate, and a very good listener. I am a Christian, wife of a Veteran, mother, and grandmother. My heritage is Caribbean-American. I grew up in South Florida with four sisters and two brothers. I was very independent at a young age and always willing to help out wherever needed. I am a musician, starting with piano in elementary school, then clarinet in middle school, and bass clarinet and bassoon in high school. I love music and find it beneficial in every aspect of life. I chose to grow my family before pursuing a career. Later, I decided to enter the mental health field because a family member was diagnosed with a severe mental health disorder. I earned my Associate of Arts in Psychology, then a dual bachelor's degree in Psychology and Behavioral Science from the University of South Florida. After completing my undergraduate studies, I went on to receive my Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Florida. I have worked with Veterans, homeless individuals, hospice patients, young adults, children, elders, couples, and individuals with severe mental health diagnoses. In my pursuit to help my family member, I became even more passionate about mental health and reducing the negative stigma attached to it. This passion is something I share with everyone I encounter.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
