What should a new client know about working with you?

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience helping people through life's challenges, my approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in proven therapeutic methods. Seeking help can be difficult, so congratulations on overcoming that hurdle. I work with adults and adolescents facing depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, helping them reconnect with their own inner wisdom and find balance in their lives. I believe in the power of compassion and self-awareness, and I bring a thoughtful, grounded presence and a strong belief in your inherent capacity to grow, thrive, and reach your full potential. I’m all about meeting you where you're at, supporting you with evidence-based tools, and helping you make real progress toward a healthier, happier life. My approach is person-centered and draws from several healing modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, CBT, ACT, and Positive Psychology. These tools are not just methods, but pathways that help you align with your true self, embrace your emotional landscape, and restore a sense of peace and purpose. In our first few sessions, you can expect to feel heard, gain some immediate calm, and start to see new possibilities. My aim is to give you direction and hope so you can start feeling more like yourself again. I’m passionate about this work because I love seeing people transform—whether it’s finding freedom from old patterns or just reconnecting with their joy. Watching clients create lives that are meaningful, fulfilling, and full of growth is truly what drives me.
