I am so glad you’re here! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington. My primary goal is to build trust and a strong alliance with clients to assist in achieving lasting positive change. I am committed to holding a safe, non-judgmental space for everyone. Regardless of what life brings to your doorstep, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective support in navigating those challenges. My approach My approach is strength-based and client-centered. I provide active listening, support, and empathy while encouraging clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. For individual therapy, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as primary interventions. Based on client needs, I also utilize Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Written Exposure Therapy as trauma-focused interventions. I’m currently training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy to better serve clients working through trauma. Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) is my primary approach for couples. My focus I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, combat trauma, sexual trauma, moral injury, and relationship challenges. I have worked with adults from varied walks of life, including active-duty military, veterans, first responders, as well as couples and families. My communication style I am an active listener who creates a supportive and safe environment. Using a conversational and collaborative approach, together we challenge unhelpful core beliefs and confront long-held narratives. I hold an empathetic, calm, and non-judgmental space. I am profoundly interested in your story and believe you are the expert in your journey. It’s important to me that you feel validated and understood.
