Getting to know Cynthia Eidelman

Hi there, I'm Cynthia, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a decade of experience and an MSEd in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Miami. Do you feel overwhelmed or easily triggered? Have you been feeling down lately and need a little support finding a clear direction? Does your past feel like it’s weighing you down? Maybe the day-to-day expectations and routines are becoming too much, and you need a safe space to vent. I help recovering people-pleasers and highly anxious individuals find inner peace again. Together, we can identify what’s not working, develop new habits, and get you back to balance. Using a client-centered and holistic approach, I aim to help you feel at ease and whole again. I am very solution-focused, and once we set clear goals, I will support you in reaching them. I consider my clients like puzzles, and my goal is to help you figure out which pieces are missing, feel extra, or need to be removed or changed. Whether you’re dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues, or wanting to break multigenerational cycles or cycles of anxiety, I’m here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary, but you’re making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions, I’ll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hang-ups and habits holding you back. Let’s work together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our first session, we will establish what is known as therapeutic rapport (a.k.a. trust and open communication) and set clear expectations that will help you reach your goals. Therapy works if you are honest, consistent and open (yes! even about the things you are embarrassed about). Remember! this is a safe space and the only way to break cycles and unhealthy habits is to get to the root cause and learn new skills. I have learned time and time again that if you trust the process and come with an open heart, this will work for you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
