“I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the support and care I’ve received from this incredible counselor. From the very first session, she created a safe and welcoming space where I felt truly heard and understood. Her empathy, patience, and genuine compassion made all the difference in my recovery journey. She never judged me or my past—only encouraged me to move forward with strength and hope. She has been a consistent source of support during some of the most difficult moments in my life. Her guidance helped me see things from a new perspective and rebuild my confidence one step at a time. She not only listened, but truly heard me, and that made all the difference. I’ve made real progress and feel more hopeful about my future than I have in a long time. If you’re looking for someone who is compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated to your growth and healing, I wholeheartedly recommend her. She has had a powerful, positive impact on my life—and I’m so thankful for her.”

Getting to know Cynthia Jobe

Everyone deserves good quality care. I have worked with substance abuse and mental health agencies throughout Colorado and Washington State for 10 years as a Licensed Addiction Counselor. Also being a multiracial, queer, Christian woman in recovery, I know first-hand the importance of good quality care to overcome addiction and maintain recovery.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Whatever it is you are experiencing, there is no such thing as a lost cause or a failed case. I will provide all the evidenced based information I can along with outside of the box methods and solutions to fit your unique situation.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I meet clients where they are at every day and allow them to guide the session and provide feedback, skills, and observations when appropriate. I want all clients to feel comfortable and heard along with feeling like they are getting something out of each session. I am always willing to confront clients when needed and say things like it is without beating around the bush so that they can move forward with the changes they want to see rather than feeling stuck in the same cycle day in and day out.
