CA
Hi there, I'm Cynthia! Cynthia I. Sanchez. I am a bilingual, bicultural clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have been working with children, teens, and adults for the past 17 years who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I enjoy helping people create balance and find new insight and harmony in their lives. My approach I practice from an attachment-based, trauma-informed, holistic perspective to help clients reach their full potential and, most importantly, their goals of balance and peace. My focus I have experience working with children, teens, and adults who suffer from trauma-sexual, physical, and emotional abuse-as well as anxiety and depression. My communication style The therapeutic space is one where communication is free-flowing and free-associating, allowing clients to share openly and freely in a nonjudgmental, confidential environment. My journey to mental healthcare Seventeen years ago, I began my career as an early intervention therapist working with children in infant mental health. My love for mental health grew as I learned about the impact of early childhood experiences, attachments, traumas, and bonding relationships. My approach as an attachment-based therapist developed from these formative years working with infants and witnessing how relationships affect mental health. My passion for trauma-informed care, healing, and repairing relationships has only grown stronger as my life's work continues with trauma survivors and children. My goals for you At the beginning of treatment, we will establish goals to guide our work together and lead us toward achieving your innermost desires. My first session with you From the start, we will work from a space of genuine positive regard, learning together how therapy can help you grow and take steps toward balance and peace.
