What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting with a new therapist can feel a little weird, and that’s totally normal. I try to make things feel safe, warm from the start. I’ll ask honest questions, and give you tools you can start using right away. My goal is to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself and the people you care about. You can expect honesty, support, and a space where you get to show up exactly as you are. We’ll move at your pace, tackle the hard stuff together, and celebrate the wins — even the small ones. Healing isn’t about being perfect; it’s about growing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My work is collaborative, practical, and focused on creating real change you can feel in your daily life. We start by talking about what’s bringing you in, what’s not working, and what you want to be different. Together, we clarify goals and identify the patterns—emotional, relational, or behavioral—that keep you feeling stuck. Sessions are a mix of supportive conversation, skill-building, and insight. I use evidence-based approaches, including Integrative Relational Therapy, CBT, and Gottman-informed methods, to help clients improve communication, reduce conflict, and build emotional safety. You can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and practice tools you can use outside of session. Whether I’m working with individuals or couples, the focus is on helping you feel more grounded, more connected, and more confident in handling challenges—so therapy feels useful, not just supportive.
