If life feels loud, heavy, or just… a lot, you’re in the right place. I support Black women and individuals processing big life changes, emotional burnout, and relationship challenges with warmth, honesty, and care. Therapy with me isn’t about having it all figured out,it’s about getting curious, building emotional clarity, and finding your footing My approach My approach to therapy is rooted in slowing things down and making space for what you’re actually feeling. I primarily use Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients understand their emotions, where they come from, and what they’re trying to communicate, especially when things feel stuck or overwhelming. My focus I work with Black women and adults navigating major life transitions, emotional overwhelm, family or relationship stress, and feelings of loneliness or loss of control. Many of my clients are tired of being “the strong one” and want space to process, feel, and heal without judgment. My communication style My communication style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I listen closely, reflect what I hear, and gently ask questions that help you explore your experiences more deeply. Sessions are conversational and supportive, you don’t need the “right words” to show up. I aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest & curious. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into mental health began with a deep curiosity about how people carry and balance so many hard things at once. I wanted to challenge the idea that we have to be “strong” all the time and create space to explore how we can grow through experiences that were meant to harm us emotionally. I’m passionate about helping clients understand. My goals for you I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to define goals that truly matter to you.
