She has worked with youth in an inpatient setting recovering from severe sexual abuse, many of whom were involved in the legal system or foster care. She has also supported adults living with severe mental illness as a case manager, helping individuals navigate medical challenges, grief, social systems, and major life transitions. Most recently, Daisy has worked with children and adolescents experiencing complex trauma, abuse, attachment disruptions, parental loss, family legal involvement, and challenges related to emotional regulation, impulse control, and anger management. Daisy believes clients are the experts on their own lives and views therapy as a collaborative process where individuals feel empowered to share their stories and work toward meaningful change. She approaches counseling from a humanistic, trauma-informed, and multicultural perspective, emphasizing the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for healing, particularly for adolescents and young adults with experiences of trauma or attachment ruptures. With a special interest in the intersection of psychology and the legal system, Daisy has specialized training in forensic psychology, including the relationship between legal involvement, victimization, criminal behavior, and mental health. She recognizes that healing is not linear and con siders it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they discover their strengths and move toward the lives they envision.
