Hello, I'm Daisy. As your therapist, I am passionate about the therapeutic process because I believe it is a privilege to walk alongside you as you start this journey. Life is a journey filled with so Maley lessons, hardships, heartaches, joys, and special moments that will lead us to our ultimate purpose in life. The road is not always smooth, and we will encounter Maley challenges. However, you are not alone in this journey. I have a passion for working with a wide range of concerns and experiences, including life changes, grief and loss, family conflict, and trauma. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a specialization in trauma-informed counseling for children, adolescents, and adults. I tailor my therapy to the unique needs of my clients and provide a collaborative, holistic approach to help clients achieve their desired goals. I believe in the power of stepping outside of one’s comfort zone, and I consider starting the therapeutic journey a first step in a new direction. I work with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, stress, and other issues interfering with daily life. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, incorporating Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. With over 15 years of experience providing services in schools, community health clinics, mental health hospitals, and private practice, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Master's degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2007 and 2008. I work with clients from all backgrounds and belief systems, and I can also provide counseling from a spiritual perspective. Additionally, I am bilingual and can offer counseling services in Spanish if needed.
