Hello, I am Dakota, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas, Arlington. I have been practicing for 3-4 years and specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, depression, anxiety, ADHD, disruptive mood disorder, and many other areas. If you sometimes find it hard to do tasks that others take for granted-like getting out of bed or taking a shower-I am here to work with you and help you move forward toward a more productive lifestyle.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me you can expect compassion, empathy and no judgement. I have struggled with mental health myself for most of my life and know many of the hurdles that are out there and I am here to be your advocate. If you put forth the effort needed for sessions than you can expect to take away a sense of pride and a better understanding of how to make changes and move forward to reach your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
