Getting to know Dakota Cash
Hi! I'm Dakota.
Do you feel as though your life is a struggle and you don't understand why or how to help yourself? Has your child changed into someone you don't recognize? Are you scared about your future or your child's future?
I excel at working with people who have become stuck, lost, or hurt. I focus on empowering you or your child with skills and increasing insight so that my clients can move on and heal.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults with any problem but specialize in working through trauma and/or abandonment issues. I am uniquely suited to offer therapy to individuals with high IQs who may have difficulties connecting with the emotional side of therapy. I love working with the geek population and offer therapeutic Dungeons & Dragons? services. I am also a trained rehabilitation therapist, so if you're struggling with what you do with your life or career, or have a high schooler wondering what trade or college path is a good fit, I can provide career counseling.
I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?
You’re in charge of your treatment, and you can set the focus or goal at will. I have a no-nonsense approach to getting you in a place where you can help yourself with getting unstuck or eliminating your struggles and, quite frankly, to a point where you don’t feel like therapy is needed anymore, however if your goal is long-term therapy and continual growth, I am happy to accommodate.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
