Psychotherapist

Congratulations on considering therapy for yourself. It can seem like such a big step, but like many gratifying experiences in life, it gets easier as you actually get into the process. So give yourself a gift and get into the process and benefit like so many other people have. My approach Life can be very challenging, as well as rewarding. It is important for all of us to develop our best version of ourselves to meet life's challenges so we can reap the rewards life offers. There are so many things that can interfere with the development of our best version of ourselves. My approach to therapy is to really get to know who and how my clients are and to support and jointly identify those interferences and utilize any of a number of therapeutic modalities that might help clients deal with the challenges. My years of experience with inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings allow me to offer helpful assistance or deeper treatment. I like to remind clients that their permission is always a necessary step before addressing challenging histories and issues. My focus I have had a practice that has served a wide range of clients, young to elderly, men, women, and LGBTQIA, as well as different ethnicities and cultures. Whether you are working on managing anxiety or mood, improving relationships, recovering from trauma or addiction, improving self-esteem, or coping with grief and loss, I will work with you to create a plan that is realistic and achievable. My communication style “I value and practice clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences as an empathetic partner. If things get challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.”
