Getting to know Dana Tresca

I often use several counseling theories to best meet my clients' needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the Solution-Focused Approach but also incorporate Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, Person-Centered Theory, and others, depending on each individual client. I'm Dana Tresca, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor passionate about supporting people at all stages of life as they work toward finding purpose and becoming the best versions of themselves. I love what I do and have always wanted to make a difference in people's everyday lives. I enjoy helping clients work through symptoms, everyday life challenges, and achieve their personal goals. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Psychology and Social Sciences and earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University. I have been serving adolescents and adults as an outpatient therapist for many years, working with clients aged 13 to 83 who face behavioral and mental health issues such as ODD, PTSD, ADHD, ASD, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Trauma, Relationship Issues, Grief and Loss, and Life Transitions. I am licensed in North Carolina, Michigan, and soon South Carolina, allowing me to reach as many people as possible with help and support.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
